May 6 – 10: Walk, Bike, Roll to School Week 
Celebrate Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day for the whole week. Walk, bike, roll, carpool or take the bus!

Our school is one of 18 schools participating in Bellevue SchoolPool’s Walk & Roll to SchoolPool campaign during the week of May 6 – 10.  Bellevue SchoolPool is a program that encourages families and students to explore sustainable transportation options for their commute to and from school and alleviate congestion at drop-off and pickup times and locations. During the campaign, students and families are encouraged to walk, bike, carpool or take the bus to and/or from school.

This spring, the campaign is centered around National Bike & Roll to School Day on Wednesday, May 8, but SchoolPool encourages students to try a new way to school any time during week!

SchoolPool also provides students with a fun activity flyer and other items including reflective shoe stickers, shoelace tags, and seeded sticky notes that can be planted in the ground.

TILLICUM MS PTA 24-25 EXECUTIVE BOARD

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, our Tillicum Nominating Committee is actively seeking candidates to fill the positions on our 2024-25 PTA Executive Board. Additionally, we're eager to engage members of our community to take on various chair positions available for next year. Let's start planning ahead for a fantastic year together! 

It's our hope to welcome enthusiastic volunteers from each feeder elementary school to join our PTA board, fostering diverse perspectives and approaches to our PTA's operation.

The PTA sponsored a Tillicum Staff Breakfast today and it was a success, thanks to our community who helped make the day possible!  We will also have a barista on-site making specialized coffees for the staff! 

Teacher appreciation week is this week, May 6-10th. If you are looking to get something extra special for your child's teachers, check out this list of some of the Tillicum Staff Favorites!

We will be looking for volunteers and chaperones from our community between 4:00 and 9:00pm (different shifts available.) High School students are highly encouraged to volunteer, and would count for volunteer graduation hours.
