Fund-Raising
In addition to your volunteer time and contributions, there are several ways you can help our school and PTA just by keeping an eye on where you shop and the products you use.
Office Depot rewards schools whenever you make a qualifying purchase. Tell the cashier to credit Tillicum (our ID is 70105959), and we receive 5% of what you spend (and it doesn't cost you anything).
Ask Albertsons to set your preferred card to contribute to Tillicum and we receive a percentage of every purchase you make (but you need to remember to use the Preferred card, which is also helpful to get their in-store special pricing). This does not cost anything.
Several companies (especially Boeing & Microsoft) will match contributions you make to our PTA. Some (including Microsoft, REI and Safeco) also make financial contributions to our school for your volunteer time. THIS PAGE LISTS SEVERAL QUALIFYING COMPANIES.
Empty Ink Cartridges, Empty Toner Cartridges, Used Cell Phones & Pagers can be brought to the office where we recycle them and receive cash back.
Save Box Tops for Education coupons (found on several products, sample below). Each one is redeemed by Tillicum for ten cents in cash! Save a batch then turn them in at the office (we have a special box to collect these next to the waiting area).
If you plan to shop online at Amazon.com, if you go to the BELLEVUE SCHOOLS FOUNDATION SITE FIRST (www.bsfdn.org/) and use their link to reach Amazon, BSF will earn 5% of every purchase you make.
Target has the Take Charge of Education program: When you use a Target card for purchases (be sure to designate Tillicum Middle School as the recipient of funds), we receive up to 1% of all eligible purchases. The customer service desk at Target can help you get enrolled in that program.
